Drug Enforcement Training Conference
Daytona Beach, Florida – October 7 – 11, 2007

1. When and Where is the 2007 Annual Training Conference?
The 48th Annual International Drug Enforcement Training Conference will be held in Daytona Beach, Florida at the Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort during the week of October 7, 2007.
The Opening Session and Awards Ceremony will be Monday morning, October 8th.
The Banquet will be held on Tuesday evening, October 9th.
Training Sessions will be conducted on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, October 9th, 10th, and 11th. The final training sessions will be completed by 5 pm, Thursday. Departure will be Friday morning, October 12th.
2. How much is Conference Registration and when can I begin registration?
Registration is available NOW.
For INEOA Members, the Conference Registration Fee is $175.
For Non-INEOA Members wishing to attend, the Fee is $225.
You must complete the Registration Form from our website and return with Fee.

Conference Registration form must be accompanied by payment in full. You may pay either by check (payable to INEOA in US Dollars, drawn on a US bank only) or credit card. Do NOT send cash.

Conference Registration fee includes: Admission to all Training Sessions and General Session/Awards Ceremony, Banquet Reception and Dinner (Tuesday), Coffee Breaks (Tuesday-Thursday), and Luncheon (Thursday).
3. Do I have to be an INEOA member to attend the 48th Annual Training Conference in Daytona Beach, Florida?
No, you do not have to be an INEOA Member, but Membership has its privileges and benefits!
INEOA welcomes all law enforcement professionals to our conference, events, and to partake in our Training programs. INEOA Membership has numerous benefits, including special discounted registration fees for our Annual Conferences, as well as Members-Only access to areas on our newly designed web-site (coming soon), and receipt of the Narc Officer magazine.

4. Hotel Information:
The Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort is the host hotel for the 48th Annual International Drug Enforcement Training Conference. INEOA has negotiated a special conference rate for our attendees of $93 Single occupancy per night, plus tax (includes full hot breakfast buffet). Rooms are available at the special rate from October 2 to October 14, 2007.

DOUBLE occupancy: $103 per night, plus tax

The above room rates include a full hot breakfast buffet served Monday through Friday, Oct. 8-12, 2007. A $10 Breakfast Voucher for use in the hotel dining room will be provided at Check-In for guests extending their stay pre and post conference.

Hotel reservations may also be made by phone. Please call Hilton central reservations at 866-536-8477 or to the Hotel direct at 386-254-8200. Guests must ask for the special group rate for the International Narcotic Enforcement Officers Association (INEOA) Conference.
5. I do not reside in the United States of America. How do I obtain a VISA to enter the country to attend the conference?
You must contact the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate to schedule an interview appointment. If you require a Letter of Invitation to the conference to complete your visa application package, contact INEOA at conference@ineoa.org . Please provide your full name and complete mailing address.
6. When will the Opening Session and Awards Ceremony be held?
The Opening Session and Awards Ceremony will be held on Monday morning, October 8, 2007.
7. What is the appropriate attire for the Opening Session and Awards Ceremony?
Recommended dress for the Opening Session and Awards Ceremony is business attire. Those attendees who regularly serve in uniform are encouraged to wear their uniform to this event.
8. If I am being Honored with an Award, may I invite guests? Is there a limit on the number of guests I may invite?
You are encouraged to invite guests to attend the Opening Session and Awards Ceremony. There is no limit on the number of guests you may invite. Please be sure to provide the names of your guests in advance when you respond to your award notification letter.
9. Am I required to pay a Fee if I am only attending the Opening Session/Awards Ceremony?
There is no fee for attending only the Opening Session and Awards Ceremony. The Conference registration fee must be paid to attend the conference training sessions and other conference events.
10. Which major airports serve Daytona Beach, Florida?

12. What is the Price of the Tickets to the Banquet on Tuesday Evening? What is the Proper Attire? May I Invite a Guest?
The cost of the Banquet is included in the Conference Registration fee. Guests not registered for the Conference may be invited to the Banquet and are encouraged to attend. Banquet tickets for Guests may be purchased for $50 each.
Dress for the Banquet is business attire. Most attendees wear anything from business casual to semi-formal evening wear. It’s not what you wear – it’s just more important that you are there!
13. Thursday’s Luncheon - what is the Price of Tickets? May I invite a Guest?
As with the Banquet, the cost of the Luncheon is included in the Conference Registration fee. Guests not registered for the Conference may be invited to the Luncheon and are encouraged to attend. Luncheon tickets for Guests may be purchased for $25 each.
14. May I stay at the Hotel past the October 12 Departure Date?
Yes, and you may also arrive early to enjoy the beach before the conference begins! The special INEOA conference rate at the Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort is in effect from October 2, 2007 through October 14, 2007.
